Elizabeth’s Flock: I've tended an assortment of heritage breed chickens starting with my original flock of seven birds which I raised from day-old chicks in 2017. My current flock consists of ten birds--three of the original girls (the OGs), two middle girls, and the five new "littles". Breeds include two Black Australorp (Violet and Olive), Gold-Laced Wyandotte (Willow), two Welsummer (Maeve and Sedona), a Midnight Majesty Marans (Luna), a Barred Rock (Aspen), an Americana (Clementine), a Buff Orpington (May), and a Rhode Island Red (Rosie).

More About Elizabeth: I am a writer, artist, and sometimes educator with a small urban homestead that includes fruit trees, gardens, and of course chickens. I enjoy long walks with my border collie Aoife, traveling to the North Shore of Lake Superior, and time spent in my kitchen cooking from scratch and baking with sourdough.
