Open House

Saturday, October 5th

10:00am - 4:00pm

On Saturday, October 5th, Craig and Dana are hosting an open house event at their home in Richfield, MN. This event is for chicken, duck, or other fowl owners as well as the community as a whole. Basically if you’re reading this, you’re invited; and, if you aren’t reading this, you would never know you weren’t invited. So RSVP & stop by!

We will draw door prizes from RSVPs!

The open house includes:

  • Meeting the flock

  • Touring the coop (hand built) and run

  • Learning the difference between raising ducks and chickens (habits, eggs, habitat, etc.)

  • Meet other flock owners and learn about backyard coops and setups

  • Learn more about flock sitting and other local services and resources

  • Peruse some chicken and duck art

Things to Know

Location: 7044 Stevens Ave. S. Richfield, MN 55423; on the northwest corner of 71st Street and Stevens Avenue.

Parking: Street parking is allowed on all nearby residential streets (unless otherwise noted)

Biosecurity: Please wear clean shoes that have not been around fowl (or clean shoe covers). We will have some shoe coverings on hand if needed.

Backyard: You can enter through either the driveway or front yard gate (we will have signs posted)
